Schwinn Active 20 Recumbent Bike has eleven types of workout programs. These include one manual program, six preset profile program, one target heart program, and three heart rate control programs. These programs were designed to suit the consumers’ workout needs. In the manual program, you would be able to choose your own resistance level. In preset profile programs, the computer will give you a default resistance level but it allow you to override, However, in the heart rate control programs, the system will give you default settings depending on the your chosen heart rate percent – 55%, 75%, or 90%.
Schwinn Active 20 Recumbent Bike has a feature called the Grip Heart Rate. This is made to use when you measure your heart rate through the heart rate sensors which is already a part of the equipment. The primary task of these sensors is to measure the recovery heart rate. This is your heart rate right after your exercise.
This recumbent bike has adjustable handlebars and a Bio Fit seat design which has two position height adjustments. There are also eight resistance levels. You can adjust the resistance of the pedals depending on your target.
The LCD display shows data that are related to your workout. It shows the virtual distance you have covered with the bike, the estimated amount of calories you have burned so far during the workout, your pulse rate measured by the heart rate sensor, the amount of power used for the resistance level you are using and the Recovery button which will allow you to get your heart rate through the built-in sensors right after your workout.
